MMM hmmm
Did you ever watch Animaniacs? I used to love it. LOVE IT….

Bad Idea: After (probably) bombing my first Genetics test, become the sleepiest, most napping individual on the planet, while simultaneously neglecting to exercise and complete as much other homework as I would like (although, that is usually the case).

Good Idea: Though I have been a bit of a slacker, I do have a better idea of when I am taking the MCAT, have bought some rockin stock (SPWRV if you are so inclined), have all clean clothes, laundry and sheets, am finally well rested, and have gotten to enjoy some of the beauty that is Boulder in the fall. And, I am caught up on Heroes….Not a bad deal overall. I return to school tomorrow with all the vim, vigor, and menis (god like rage and wrath) of Achilles on Hector-killing day (Greek Mythology final this Friday). Or perhaps a pre-med student with lots to prove hopped up on caffeine (more likely).
Yay!

Hope you have gotten to slow down and enjoy life too!
The Beach- North Carolina

Ryan Kristen on a Boat

I know, it has been a while.  I just get so swept up in life that I forget to write on my blog. Despicable. I don’t even know how to catch up.  I suppose I will just have to start with a photog. Hmmm.  I think it has been more than a month.  I survived O-chem, and really loved it in fact.  Sometimes I find myself in Genetics pining for the good old days of the chair conformation and Wolff-Kischner to chop of carbonyls at will.  I went to North Carolina and saw my lovely grandmother, who is now 92! Ah! It’s amazing.  She is still a great gardener.  Ryan and I went to San Diego for much needed vacation, and enjoyed the sights, sounds, tastes, and I even helped him become a masterful surfer of whitewash for one day! ¡Es muy divertido!

I started the fall semester, and find myself in a boisterous, raging mix of biochem, genetics, español, greek mythology, teaching chemistry students, and as of tomorrow, volunteering with There With Care! I have also been enjoying the fabulous endorphin kick of my renewed trail running, which has been extra lovely with all the changing leaves and wildflowers.  I mean to go take photos soon, so stay tuned!  More to come!
