Once again, I have been on a science diet hiatus from my blog. However, I am pleased to report that my absence and general memorizing mania and antisocialism have paid off. I made it through Organic Chemistry One unscathed, and now have all sorts of fresh motivation and eyes for Ochem 2! Yeah! I did have a lovely four day weekend off though, indulging in such pleasures as 11 hour sleep fests, movie watching, bbqing, wine drinking, swimming, running, catching up with friends, seeing my first moose, having amazing tea, planting my garden, seeing my parents, and taking photos of clouds and flowers. It was a real treat!
True to becoming a science-a-holic though, I am returning to productivity with a whole new barrage of goals for the next month. Including enjoying the heck out of life, I need to return it to working order. This will include but not be limited to: 1. Getting back into shape (7 months of studying does nothing for your fitness) by running early in the mornings, and joining Ryan on the “No Dessert Quest” until the Pikes Peak Ascent, August 16th. 2. Clearly, getting an A in O chem 2. Learning how to count 3. Taking care of my apartment (purging of magazines, cleaning of disgusting areas) before my new roomie moves in, yay! I thought there was a lot more to it, but I am sure that I will stay sufficiently busy. So, in case I don’t surface for another five weeks, there is a reason. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!
